Function of Branch

Supervision of the income, expenditure and advance account estimates of the Ministry.

Total supervision of all financial transactions about votes of expenditure, deposit accounts, advance accounts, funds and other accounts.

Doing payments for all expenditure, doing follow up work about expenditure and reviewing the implementation of budget by state financial institutions.

Management of statutory funds of the ministry.  

Supervision of the receipt and expenditure of foreign aids, foreign loans / donations according to the agreements.  

Submission of annual appropriation accounts and other accounts according to financial laws and regulations and other circulars of the treasury.

Submission of reports about financial targets and from time to time reviewing their progress. 

Establishment of financial systems and issuing necessary guidelines about them to the staff of the institutions coming under the ministry.

Coordinating work for audit queries of auditor general and submission of reports.

Submission of relevant reports to the public accounts committee and public enterprise committee.

Supervision of the duties of accounting staff.
