Function of Branch

Conducting Preliminary investigations in terms of the section XL VII of the Establishments Code at the time of Violation of the Provisions and the guidelines of the Ministry of Education Circulars, Financial Regulations, Procedural rules and the Establishments Code by the officers of various services Working in the institutions under the directer control of the Ministry of Education.

1. Receiving statements.
2. Doing positional investigation.
3. Receiving originals or instant copies as relevant.
4. Doing goods survey as necessary.
5. Sealing the cupboards, computers, buildings as required.
6. Preparing investigation reports and submitting them.
7. Drafting charge sheets and submitting them.
8. Handling formal disciplinary actions and participating as a witness.

Participating and giving evidence when complained to Human Rights Commission and to Bribery Commission regarding the investigations done as investigating officers.
