Function of Branch

Improving achievement levels of the subjects, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhist Civilization and Shivanary and capacity building of the teachers directly involve in those fields including all resource persons and monitoring them.

Establishment of Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, Christian, Catholic Religious Advisory Boards with the leadership of the Minister of Education and the Secretary and resolve the issues in respective religions and create harmony.

Printing of a booklet named “Virtuous Generation of Children and a Better Society”, practically and theoretically implement that book within the school system, through it creating a student community empowered with values from the school system  and socializing them as creative, disciplined and righteous persons and minimizing the social destruction through it and contribute directly to the sustainable development.

Preparing necessary instructional programs for implementing all religious programs at school level, implementing and monitoring them.  

Organizing and directing the activities for holding symbolically the important religious days annually within the ministry premises.
